Reviews
We had such an miserable stay here, I can not understand the good reviews.
Our room was not cleaned at all! The toilet seat was full of urine (see attached picture), after seeing this disgusting room we went downstairs to complain, and we were promised a new room in a few minutes and that we should wait in the hotel pub. After one hour wait we asked when we finally get a new room to get a rest after an exhausting day. Then suddently they said they will need another 1.5 hours for the new room (apparently a renovated one). When we got upset that the promised few minutes would be 2.5 hours we finally got keys for a new room. Let me tell you it was worse than the first one, so this left us thinking that cleaning is not top priority.
Stayed on Tuesday night. Newly refurbished rooms that are very comfortable and clean. Hotel getting a new look and will be very impressive when fully finished. 👏
The room itself was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, however, the breakfast was not satisfactory. There were tables that hadn't been cleared the whole time i was there. There was not a great selection and what was there wasn't hot. The bain Marie's were dirty and the table that held the orange juice was also dirty. The glasses for the juice were so dirty I didn't take any juice. The breakfast really let this hotel down unfortunately.
Just back from the weekend what a beautiful place the room was fantastic and the bar man was so friendly he told us the best places to go breakfast was good my only bad experience was wee had to go home can’t wait to go back I highly recommend xx
Was a very short notice visit to sligo and first time here. Room was large clean and nice.bed very comfy and location perfect. staff very friendly too
I can't believe that hotel like this still exists and people using that poor service. …
Clean and quiet hotel. Staff are all helpful and friendly. Plenty of pubs and bars in walking distance
The biggest shout out to Ricky, who greeted us with a huge smile and helped us out immensely once we realised we had messed up our booking. He really went the extra mile for us and we’re incredibly grateful. Room was clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend!
